Takako Yuasa from Where Wolves Wander.
Takako Yuasa was Junko’s best friend before she died, a sixteen year old girl who grew up with Junko and Shinji. Takako has always been off-put by Keita, but tries to be friendly with him since Junko thinks he’s alright. She has a very faint sixth sense, which is only enough to let her know that something is ‘off’ about people. Like Keita, Takako is off-put by the Mizumakis and doesn’t like to be around them. Because of that, she has unwittingly saved herself and her family from being preyed on them by refusing them access to her home when they came to visit one day, making her house a safe zone.Once Junko dies, Takako becomes determined to find the cause of her death and ends up becoming closer to Keita because of it. Although she resists working with him at first, the tragedy finally makes her understand that there’s nothing truly monstrous about Keita. Ironically, shortly after this revelation, she discovers that Keita is a werewolf, and precedes to freak out a little. Takako calms down eventually though, realizing that this information doesn’t change anything. Once she learns the truth, she dedicates herself to hunting down and destroying the vampires and saving Junko from them, given hope by Shinji’s recovery.
